WELCOME TO ADRIANA ESCALANTE PHOTOGRAPHY
YOU BOOKED YOUR SESSION. NOW, WHAT?
Thank you again for booking your family photo session with me.
This Welcome Page will help you prepare your family and me for your photo session. It contains a few necessary tips and tells you about the experience. It also has a link to a questionnaire for me to learn a bit more about your family and what you want to get out of the session.
Together, all these will make the photoshoot more easy-going.
QUESTIONNAIRES
The questionnaire is really important for prepping for the session. It will save us, you and me, time since we won’t be to have to email back and forth or get on the phone to gather info. Please take a few minutes to fill out this questionnaire to learn more about your family and about what you would like to get out of your photo session.
If you have not done so yet, please choose the questionnaire that best fits you and submit it a week before your photo session! Thank you!
THE PHOTO SHOOT. WHAT TO EXPECT.

PRO TIPS: WHAT TO WEAR
Coordinate, don't match.
Make sure kids are comfortable with what they are wearing.
Don't forget shoes and accessories are important too, but if your child hates what they are wearing it’s going to show in the photos. That may mean scrapping that adorable hair clip or the sweetest bow tie that just makes the outfit perfect.
Happy kids make better photos than accessories.
Dress in layers, but dress with the weather and location in mind. You want to make sure your child isn’t too cold or hot.
Stay away from logos, athletic graphics, fluorescent colors, reflective fabrics, and trendy jewelry.
Plan ahead. Have all of your outfits picked out before the day of your photoshoot so you are not adding any more stress to your day.

MORE PRO TIPS
Talk to your kids before about the photoshoot.
Give your kids a head up before the day of the photoshoot about what we’ll be doing.
Talk to them about how much fun it’s going to be.
Tell them that a friend is going to be taking your family photos and she will be asking them to stand and sit in a few different ways.
If your child is old enough, set the expectation of how you would like them to behave during the shoot.
Make sure everyone is well are fed and rested.
Offer children a little reward for tolerating the session.
Don't force children to smile. They will give a real smile if they are happy and having fun.
Stay positive and let kids be kids! Kids will pick up on your mood so try to take some deep breaths, relax and enjoy the experience.
Parents are also supposed to have fun!

POLICIES & F.A.Q.s.
A friendly reminder that the booking/session fee is non-refundable.
- Late Policy
-
Fashionably late is no biggie, but if you know that you will be 20-30+ minutes late, please let me know ASAP so that we can shift things around. If I am free, I don't mind making the session at a later time the same day if it works better for everyone, or alternatively, please reschedule.
- What Happens If I Need to Reschedule?
-
We all live La Vida Loca so if you do need to reschedule, please contact me to choose a new date and time for your session within 24 hours. Rescheduling may be done anytime within a 6-month period. Rescheduling past the 6-month grace period and No-Shows would require rebooking and paying the session fee again.
- Cancellation Policy
-
I understand unexpected situations may arise out of your control, so if for any reason, you can't reschedule or do the session anymore within a 6-month period, you can also transfer or gift your booking fee to family or a friend. Please let me know ASAP within 8-12 hours of the session.
- Delivery of Images
-
I will have your images ready within 2-3 weeks of the photo session. You will receive an email communicating that your photos are ready. At that time, you have the option to select what you would like to do with your images and set a date for online proofing or in-person proofing to discuss your creative package.
- Choosing & Creating Your Own Package
-
I offer my clients the option of online proofing or in-person proofing with me so that we can look at the pictures together. After going through the photos, we can discuss what would be the best options for you. You may create your own package (a combination of prints, wall art, photo album, digitals, etc.) or do it à la carte.
- Can I Buy the Digital Images Only?
-
Yes, definitely! Although you can get your digital images as part of your Creative Package, you may also buy only the digitals and nothing else.
