SET UP INITIAL MEETING & QUESTIONNAIRE

QUESTIONNAIRE

Please fill out the initial questionnaire that will serve us as a roadmap to initiate our brainstorming session. The questionnaire is really important for prepping for the session. It's all about saving us time to avoid back and forth emails and photo calls. The questionnaire is about the brand, colors, brand positioning, brand values, competitors, and other relevant info about your business.

SET UP YOUR INITIAL MEETING

Your initial virtual, in-person, or telephone meeting will be a discovery session to initiate our brainstorming exercises for your personal brand. Please block up to an hour and a half (1.30 hr) for our meeting on your agenda.

THE BRAINSTORMING & PLANNING SESSION

In our brainstorming session, we will answer a few critical questions related to your brand:

  • Your brand sensory descriptors and positioning
  • Your brand's emotional traits vs. brand physical traits
  • Your client's pressure points
  • Define a bio/elevator pitch that perfectly sums up your business or service
  • How do you want people to describe you
  • Your brand communication pillars

Once we finish with these points of discussion, we move on to planning the actual photoshoot session (s) with a timeline and set of deliverables. At this point we will discuss the photo mix we want to achieve and also decide on the props, models, makeup, and hairstyling services and location. Finally, we will set the date or dates for the photo session (s).

THE MOOD BOARD

WHAT IS A MOOD BOARD FOR

The mood board will give us the creative direction of the different type of shots we want to achieve in terms of:

  • Makeup and hairstyling
  • Locations
  • Headshots, closeups
  • Portraits lifestyle, socials 
  • Styling
  • Flatlay compositions - objects only, model included

It is an essential tool to organize & define the different shots, scenes, and stories we want to capture for the photoshoot.

Adriana will create a mood board based on locations, brand color palettes, scenes, and the communication pillars or categories of your business.   


THE PHOTO SHOOT. WHAT TO EXPECT.

Duration of the Session

The photoshoot may last between up 5 hours total and sometimes a bit more depending on how fast we go through taking all the shots and the stories we want to capture.

Makeup & Hairstyling

Calculate an hour for makeup and hairstyling before taking the pictures. We will start with hair down and then create different hair looks, soft makeup, and then probably start varying both.

Styling & Outfits

We will organize outfits and style them in the order needed for the shots. Clothing layers and accessories play an important role as they can provide variety and flexibility.

Props

We will organize and carefully assign props as needed in the shots. Props, as well as other people, complete the storytelling we want to capture in line with your business.

Posing

There will be lots of posing in this photo session. I will direct you but it is important that you relax, breathe, and let go. We will use the mood board for ideas and inspiration.

Moving Around

1-3 places within the same location or multiple locations. We will walk around and change spots to capture shots with different backgrounds for a nice variety of shots.

Flatlays (Optional)

Flatlays take time because it is important that the composition and lighting are correct. Ideally, we want to have a good idea of what we want to do before we start composing.

Good Times

The goal is to have an enjoyable experience. Photoshoots are long and tiring, eat well and stay hydrated as well as forget about perfection, and be your true self all the time.

Allocate up to 8 hours total

2.5 to 3 hours of shooting per day + time for MUAH

MAKEUP & HAIRSTYLING SERVICES

I highly recommend that you consider getting professional makeup and hairstyling services for your photosshoot.  This is all part of taking your personal brand to the next level and conveying ane extremely professional perception to your target client.

Please be reminded that if the photoshoot ends up in two separate sessions, you may need to hire the makeup and hairstyling again.  I can always try to get a bundle package for you, but I cannot promise the MUAH will agree.

Please calculate about an hour for makeup and hairstyling in addition to your actual photo session.

The MUAH fee is per person per session.

POLICIES & F.A.Q.s.

A friendly reminder that the booking/session fee is non-refundable. 

Late Policy

Fashionably late is no biggie, but if you know that you will be 20-30+ minutes late, please let me know ASAP so that we can shift things around. If I am free, I don't mind making the session at a later time the same day if it works better for everyone, or alternatively, please reschedule. 

What Happens If I Need to Reschedule?

We all live La Vida Loca so if you do need to reschedule, please contact me to choose a new date and time for your session within 24 hours. Rescheduling may be done anytime within a 6-month period.  Rescheduling past the 6-month grace period and No-Shows would require rebooking and paying the session fee again.

Cancellation Policy

I understand unexpected situations may arise out of your control, so if for any reason, you can't reschedule or do the session anymore within a 6-month period, you can also transfer or gift your booking fee to family or a friend. Please let me know ASAP within 8-12 hours of the session. 

Delivery of Images

You will receive an email that your photos are ready within 4 -5 weeks of the photo session.  At that time, we will do proofing and do a final culling of the photos for delivery. I can also deliver the photo suite by batches per its photo category.  We will discuss this optional delivery format at proofing.

Recurring Packages Available

I offer my clients the option of having periodical personal branding photo sessions to have brand new content up to date with your business activities.  Updating your social media content with professional photos is always a wise investment. 

Playment Plans

I offer payment plans of 2-3 installments over a period of 3-4 months or a monthly payment of $275 over a period of 4 months.  However, I am always happy to work with you should you need an alternative plan that best accommodates your budget.
